Step 1: Sterilze bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water for 3-min before each use.

Step 2: Boil the water and leave it to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Pour about half of the water into the bottle.

Step 3: Fill the measuring spoon and level with a knife for accurate measurement. Add the quantity of milk powder indicated in the table on back of this page into the bottle.

Step 4: Shake thoroughly. Add the rest of the water and shake again. Cool down to drinking temperature by placing bottle under cold running water. Always check the milk temperature before feeding

Gentler on our baby’s tummy

We switched to Kendamil Comfort on our pediatrician’s recommendation when our newborn seemed uncomfortable after feeds. The partially hydrolyzed formula has been noticeably easier for him to tolerate, and the reduced lactose seemed to help as well. It mixes smoothly without a lot of foam, and the tin is easy to keep sealed between uses.

Our baby can be picky, but she took to this right away. We noticed less gassiness and fewer tense, uncomfortable moments after feeding. The can is straightforward to use and the scoop is easy to find in the powder.

A helpful part of our plan

This formula was one piece of addressing our baby’s constipation, and it did help. I like that it’s meant to be used with healthcare supervision, which is how we approached it. It’s a good option, but I’d still recommend discussing it with a pediatrician first.

Works well, but the tin arrived dented

The formula itself has been a good fit for our baby’s digestion and we’ve kept it in rotation for a few weeks now. The only downside was the can arrived with a dent, which I later saw is common with these tins. Everything inside was sealed and fine, but it made me a little nervous at first.
