Ok, we admit it! Your baby most likely won’t remember their first Halloween — but that shouldn’t stop us from creating fun memories, even if they are mostly for us parents, right?
There are countless baby Halloween costumes available online, but buying something your baby will wear only once can be quite expensive. Our solution? Make it yourself!
Don’t worry — we know parents are busy (and usually sleep deprived!). That’s why we searched the internet for fun and easy baby costumes that take less than an hour to make.
Here are some of our favorite DIY baby Halloween costumes, ranked by how easy they are to make.
---Baby Grape Costume
What you will need:
- 5–10 balloons (green, purple, or red work best)
- Air pump
- 5–10 safety pins
- A baby jumpsuit in the same color as the balloons
- Optional: hat and fake leaves
How to make it: Blow up the balloons to your desired size and carefully attach them to the jumpsuit using safety pins and the balloon knots. Attach fake leaves to the hat using pins. Your baby will instantly look like a bunch of adorable grapes!
---Baby Avocado Costume
You know how much we love avocados at Organic Baby Formula Shop , so we were thrilled to find this adorable and simple avocado costume idea.
What you will need:
- Dark green baby jumpsuit
- Light green or yellow fabric
- Brown fabric
- Scissors
- Needle and thread
How to make it: Cut a brown circle from the fabric to create the avocado seed. Then cut a larger circle from the light green or yellow fabric to represent the avocado flesh. Sew the brown circle onto the larger piece and then sew the entire piece onto the baby jumpsuit.
And voilà — you now have the cutest little avocado!
